ABOUT GRACE

Grace Stranger is a journalist and content producer who has almost a decade of experience working in creative industries.

She is a versatile writer with interests ranging from policy and analysis to science and history, and music and culture. Having worked in news production, marketing and communications, hospitality and the live music industry, Grace has a wide array of life experiences and skills to draw from for content inspiration.

While studying her Master of Advanced Journalism at the University of Technology Sydney, Grace excelled in a number of subjects. For her academic contributions, she was awarded the Wanda Jamrozik Scholarship in Journalism, and the Dame Mary Gilmore Memorial Prize in Journalism, as well as two consecutive wins and one highly commended at the 2021 and 2022 JERAA Ossie Awards, and was awarded two highly commended prizes at the Democracy Watchdogs 2022 Student Awards.

Grace currently works as a producer for POLITICOEurope and is building her professional portfolio as she establishes herself as a career journalist. She has freelanced for a number of projects across a variety of sectors including research projects with the University of Wollongong and a cookbook published for Hampden Deli, Kangaroo Valley.
